The last 2 years has made a mess of my mind. I have been absorbed by politics since I hit college back in 1970. Just a few days before my High School graduation in May of 1970, students peacefully protesting the Vietnam War at Kent State University in Ohio were attacked by the Ohio National Guard and four were killed. Students were the soldiers on the front lines at home. Things got very real. I entered college as a Physics major and, like so many, college opened my eyes in a way that I never expected. It was exciting; new. Options abounded around me and I was free to choose my own way. Like today, the news was full of protest, war and a severely divided country under President Nixon.
